Testing out a new signature for my posts. FINALLY got it to work. Now if I could just get it to work on my Yahoo mail.

Books, books, I love 'em

I love to read. I've read some great books lately. I am going to see if my book club will read one that I enjoyed . It is called Prayers For Sale and is by Sandra Dallas. Another great book I am reading is called American Lion and is a biography of Andrew Jackson. If you like biographies I would recommend this one. I like biographies and have since I was a little girl. I moved away from Las Vegas when I was just eight and I had already been reading biographies. (Easier ones, of course.) I also enjoy fiction. I am trying to get through another book (nonfiction) called The 5000 Year Leap and is by Cleon Skousen. This is a book that they subtitle "Principles of Freedom 101." I am interested in suggestions for books to read. (But I don't like descriptive sexuality and suggestive stuff.)

The Caring Neighborhood Kids

I was at the new park by the junior high today with Phillip. We were checking out the new equipment. There were many of the kids there from the neighborhood. I was really pleased at how they just played together on the equipment. The kids didn't worry about who was playing, they just had a good time together.

Just before we left, Carter Williams got hurt. He was riding his bike away when some of the boys noticed he was hurt. They ran over to him one by one as they noticed what was going on. Each one of them asked him what was wrong and if he was okay. I'm talking about 7 or 8 kids! I was so proud that they were decent and caring kids. Thanks to Micah Parkinson, Austin Graham, Taylor Christopolous, Austin Henderson, and two other boys who were there with Austin H., and Carter. (I'm so sorry I don't know their names!) I just wanted you moms to know what good children you have!!!
