Meredith's ACT Score

Meredith found out she scored a 31 on her ACT. She was kinda bummed because she had hope to bump to a 33. Just kidding! She really did hope to bump to a 33 but she's not bummed at getting a 31! Way to go Kiddo!

Meredith goes to Homecoming

Meredith and Brock going to Homecoming. They are good friends and so they are going to really enjoy each other's company. I got done sewing the sleeves on the dress at about 4 p.m. today! [;-P] Then I curled her hair.

Brown Noser

I was talking with Sydney and I used the word brown noser. I asked her if she knew what that meant. She said: "Does that mean you dig in the dirt with your nose?" We got quite a good laugh out of that.

Playground Duty

I was on playground duty today at the school. One boy came up to me and said: " I need to go wash my hands. A grasshopper just peed on me." A different boy was showing me two grasshoppers he had caught. Another kid came up and was amazed that one of the grasshoppers hadn't hopped away (because it was just sitting on the kid's hand). Upon closer examination, I noticed that the grasshopper was missing it's hind legs. I asked the boy where the grasshopper's other legs were. He said that another kid had pulled them off. Ummmmmm......
