I recently added this to my Etsy shop. It is hand appliqued wool felt on a cotton background. Because the owl and the branch are the same color I decided I needed to add something to distinguish the bird's legs from the branch. So I added some other colored felt detail to the branch. Lagoon

We haven't been to Lagoon for like 7 years. So when we got two tickets to Lagoon for buying our car, we decided to go. We chose a great day because most of the rest of the state was back in school while Davis County wasn't. We walked onto all the rides and really enjoyed ourselves. (Some a little too much) Phillip and Sydney both went on rides that made them nervous and learned to enjoy some of the scarier rides. One of the rides we couldn't convince Phil to go on he ended up liking so much that he went 10 times! That ride was an enclosed water slide over by the rocket that you went down on a raft. I think it is called the Hula Loop. We were proud of the kids for doing things they were nervous about doing. Sydney even went on the Rocket blast off twice. Here are some pictures of us (wet) after we got off Rattlesnake Rapids. Jen went on Wicked by herself because no one else would go with her--it ROCKED! Even though Jen and the kids took Bonine before we went, we still had to take it easy after too many roller coaster type rides.
