Smart Cookies

The other day Steve and I were telling one of the kids something and they were surprised at what we knew. So Steve told the kids, "Yeah, mom and I are smart cookies. I'm an oatmeal cookie and mom is ... " Phillip piped up and said "Mom's just a clumsy old person." I'm hurt!!

So a different day we were in the car and Steve asked me what I would like to do for my 40th birthday party. Would I like to have a party with friends, with family, or with both? I told him I would rather stick my head in the sand. Regan asked me if I would like them to throw me a 16th birthday party. That way I could feel young again. Ptthhhh . . .
